My Favorite Concepts from the Detroit Show

Detroit had some great concepts this year. The Buick Avista was stunning, Acura made some rad headlights, and the Kia Telluride was actually pretty awesome looking, but I absolutely love the new Tiguan GTE Active Concept.

Sure, it’s probably not going to get made, with VW having all of their issues, but I’m fairly confident that it we will at least see VW factory accessories for taking the next-gen Tiguan off road. What did you guys like the best?

i know this might seem silly , but did Scion have a stand at Detroit?

They did! The Scion product specialist, who was wearing skinny pants, puffy jackets and high top sneakers like the youths of today, actually swore up and down to me that the new Scion C-HR will look exactly like the concept. I told her that I didn’t believe her. She showed me a picture of the iM concept and said “See! Look how similar that looks!”

Turns out, I was right. At the very least, it won’t have that Scion badge.
